i'm just done with fricking fnn and thank god i am able to squeeze in some time for blogging.
its weird i dont have monday blues today just the occasional sleepy groggy feeling i have during lessons.
anyhows i have been dreaming about alot of weird stuff lately like recently i dreamt about going to a tattoo shop with vern and shirin and getting ourselves a star tattoo just below our index finger.
why index finger?
i also dont know.
i freaked out cos they claim it was damn painful? and i fainted...
i woke up in my dream to see myself with a tongue and naval piercing.
well, for that part of my dream, how i wish it was for real. waking up to see yourself with a few piercings and the best part? you dont have to experience the pain.

okay and i just realised vern has got a fetish for leather smell!

sharlene: why are you smelling your wallet?
vern: my wallet smells damn nice lah
sharlene: omg why? let me smell!
vern: -passes me her wallet*
sharlene: -sniffs on the wallet* oh yeah ah! damn nice!

haha okay maybe i have a fetish for leather wallets with leather smell also.

school was tiring but knowing that im gonna meet leesu at the end of the day pulled me through all the long lesson hours.

the bus ride to town was soo looooonnnng cos of the traffic jam. the weather was bleak and the sky was overcast with dark clouds omg this sounds like a descriptive essay haha in short, it was raining lah. finally met up with leesu at topshop.

you know what? i usually have the sudden urge to spend money as and when i like but i was feeling different today and i didnt see the need to spend. and all i brought back home was a big tummy.
we went to new york new york to eat. its a highly recommended restaurant situated at citylink just beside HMV? the place used to be the nooch i think?
the service was great, the anbience was awesome and the food, ohmyfuckinglicious!
i had spaghetti and giant beef meatballs, the portion i tell you, so big.
leesu at london's fish and chips.
we were supposed to have chocolate waffles but it was out of stock therefore we had
harlem chocolate mayhem sundae for dessert!

after dinner, we headed to esplanade cos of leesu and her wonderfully fantastic idea of going to esplanade to take polaroid pictures using her camera. we took photos and this is the outcome...

wow i havent been blogging for 3 days alrdy.
anyway, 24th of july wasnt a good start at all cos a worm spoiled my day. i was walking through the park as usual and this brown worm was hanging from you know those web like thing you cant see? yea and i dont know how the frickin' hell did it end up on my fringe. it was literally dangling on my one strand of hair. it ever crossed my mind what if one day that scenario happened and what am i gonna do about it. well, my nightmare has finally arrived and i had to bloody hell take great courage to flick that thing off!

i hate stuff that dangle on tree branched.
i hate the smell of fish whenever i walk pass the pond at bishan park every god damn day.
i hate dog poo even though i have to clear them like everyday.

and you know what? im getting to hate fnn teachers so bad!
they get on my nerves so often, im itching!
i dont understand why in the world they can be so unreasonable and insensative sometimes.

me: teacher, can i use last year's batch's notes for fnn then i dont have to photocopy all those notes that i've lost.
teacher: what's the point?

gawd! even her effing answer's so irrelevant.

i didnt expect myself to get involved in this entire idol mania thing. it seriously IS contagious. i went for the spectaculars 2 and for the results show also. the crowd was damn ON lah with everyone holding up big playcards to root for their favourite idol. im glad vern knows gayle personally, as a result, we were able to get tickets for the show. btw vern got the tickets from gayle's mommy.

initially i felt really excited esp when gurmit was counting down for the show to start. and not to forget, the anticipation for all our idols to come out! however, being there the second time proved to be otherwise, all the shouting/shrieking/pushing and quarrelling got on my nerves.
what to do.
want to watch live there and then what!
actually my main reason was to get my hands on joakim, johnathan, gayle and jasmine..
haha no doubt i was lucky enough to shake their hands and worst still, tug on their sleeves.

the results show was saddening as me and vern watch gayle being voted out.

here's a tribute to gayle...
we love you gayle! stay strong and i believe you can go really far with soo much exposure at such a young age.

despite the throbbing aches and pains from my shoulders down to my stomach and my thighs,
i as usual dragged myself to school for the councillor rehearsal.
im glad it turned out great!
esp the juniors dance.

now i feel a slight tinge of regret for not going for the councillor camp during the june hols.
if not i could have partnered zul in the dancing dancing!

i came home and i was supposed to head to ikea to get some stuff for my room.
but i ended up shifting furniture from room to room just to accomodate my liking.
i spent almost the whole day shifting stuff,packing and clearing things.
and to be honest with you, i started at about 3 and i just got everything done with about an hour ago. the worst part is... im allergic to dusts and dustmites.
the outcome of it all, nasty red patches on my hands and face.
eww!
i bet it'll be a total turnoff if i were to attend a matchmaking date or smth.
okay, im sensing smth here. im starting to crap so much.
an obvious sign that im lethargic alrdy.

its terrible having been hit with the flu bug.
my head feels so tight.
my nose soo blocked.
my throat so sore.
my fingers so numb.

but i dragged myself to school on account of the math transformation test.
since i studied for it, i dont wish to allow my efforts to go down the drain just by not turning up for school lah.
accounts was horrible! ms kwok was literally scolding us all the while. and you know how one can demoralise someone just by doing that.

this was the first time i dreaded going to school on monday knowing that as a graduating student, i wouldnt be able to have the opportunity to catch the youth day concert as the school's got other "pleasant surprises" in stored for us. in case you're curious to know whats the "pleasant surprise", its a math mock paper. i went to the extent of questioning myself, did this just mark the start of a bad day? well, it did. cos majority of us werent able to fully concentrate while doing the paper due to the persistent distraction coming from the hall. it was hard to dismiss the certainty that there was a concert going on in the hall and some of my good friends were actually performing. fuck this abhorrent detestable school.

other than that, i had an awesome time with vern in school today. fooling ard and acting like juveniles, as usual, who would make anyone feel as though we've got a deprived childhood. we wore the red bow ties we got from far east the other day. and ironically, to be labelled "minnie mouse" by many others, was somehow uhm.. interesting?

oral was over and done with. it wasnt exactly a breeze but it was alright.
that was after hours of heart throbbing moments, constant sweating of my ever-so-sweaty palms and repetively reading my chinese notes that ironically seemed helpful.
i was surprised that i could actually read ma ling shu mian bao (potato bread)
it wasnt exactly what you would expect from sharlene, a consistent chinese-failure.
anyway i was thinking of celebrating this "great achievement" by going shopping with vern tmr. but theres half day of school tmr (moe excel day) and it is such a spoiler lah. whats the point in having half day school, i think we should have that as an public holiday instead. that way, every student in need of enjoyment, just like me, can let their hair down and rocketh!

well, since im so elated that doomsday's over, maybe i just close one eye lah. and rocketh tmr! who knows, maybe it'll be an awesome school day tmr.

tmr's doomsday! the day i've long dreaded arriving cos i'll be having my mt o level oral.
i mean i cant even speak proper chinese on normal days, what more about speaking to examinars.. right.
lets just hope for the best, at least i know i did a fair bit of reading so as to ensure i wouldnt be tongue-tied tmr. anyway, on a lighter note, im glad friday's another holiday! well not exactly a holiday but moe excel day. will be going shopping with vernie and perhaps get a few items to satisfy my urge for new stuff.
i took a short nap earlier on, and if i were to elaborate more on it, you'll know why its a short nap. i had the most awkward dream ever! my mother, wants to whip me cos she claimed that i hid the cane so i can cane my sister. and the whip is effing long lah. i also rmbered clearly i was living in a cable car with a glass floor.
and as i was sleeping, gnomes were growing out of my neck.
i know its queer enough to be able to rmb your dreams.
but i did. and if i were to have a choice, i wouldnt even want to think that i dreamt about those stuff. so now you know why my dream was short, i didnt even see the need to prolong my dream any further. i just woke up!

i need to read up more english books now that i feel i've been using only a limited amount of words words words.

i have been cooping myself in my little cosy home almost everyday.
and finally i went out today!
one of my aunts recently moved to a 3 storey semi-detached house.
hur, its sheer pleasure that my uncle and aunt have been promoted to be king and queen living in luxury.
i mean the place is awesome! so much like a palace.
i even talked my auntie into lending me her flight of stairs during my 21st birthday with my prince charming waiting for me at the foot of the stairs while i walk down.
awshh, i hope i wouldnt need to dream about it.
IT WILL COME TRUE YES!

ahhh.. my prince charming.
but it'll be nicer if there are about a dozen more prince charmings...
hopefully it'll come true eh.
